Remove/Install Steering Column Module - AR54.25-P-2802FR

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Carry out commissioning of steering column tube module control unit (N80). When replacing steering column tube module control unit (N80).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
2 Move steering wheel all the way to the rear.    
3 Remove steering wheel.   AR46.10-P-0100FR
4 Unclip cover (2) from steering column tube module control unit (N80). IMPORTANT Start unclipping at bottom of cover (2).

5 Detach steering column tube module control unit (N80) from steering column tube. NOTES
Do not operate red safety catch in steering column tube module control unit (N80).
Otherwise the clock spring contact will be destroyed.
 
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT If the installation position of the steering column tube module control unit (N80) is correct, the assembly indicator (arrow a) is in retracted position.  
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT When installing a new steering column tube module control unit (N80), the transportation lock (6) must be broken off after installation.  
6 Remove locking clip (3) from electrical connector (4). IMPORTANT The locking clip (3) is destroyed and must be replaced.  
7 Push back catch hook (arrow c) using a suitable tool between the guide (5) and electrical connector (4).    
8 Remove the guide (5) together with the electrical connector (4) and remove steering column tube module control unit (N80) in direction (arrow b).    
9 Install in the reverse order.
