| 1 | Remove right seat side bolster. | Model 290 with code 287 (Through-loading feature) |

| 2 | Move right front seat to forwardmost position. | ||
| 3 | Disconnect electrical connection (2). | Model 257, 290 with code 287 (Through-loading feature) with code 872 (Left and right rear seat heating) |

| 4 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) and unclip associated electrical line. | ||
| 5 | Release right seat backrest (1). | ||
| 6 | Unscrew bolts (4). | *BA91.12-P-1003-03M | |
| 7 | Pull right seat backrest (1) off center seat backrest and remove. | Do not tilt right backrest (1). Otherwise, the spacer ring in the right seat backrest (1) may be damaged. |

| 8 | Install in the reverse order |
