Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove ME-SFI control unit (N3/10) and place to one side with the connected coolant lines.   AR07.08-P-7013MNI 
2 Release and disconnect electrical connector of boost pressure control pressure transducer (Y77/1).    
3 Remove screws (4). TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
4 Release and disconnect electrical connector of ignition coil for cylinders 1+2 (T4).    
5 Release and disconnect electrical connector of ignition coil for cylinders 3+4 (T4/1).    
6 Release cable tie (18) from high-pressure line.    
7 Remove retaining clip (7) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5).    
8 Remove retaining clip (11) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5).    
9 Remove retaining clip (17) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5).    
10 Remove retaining clip (20) from engine lifting lug.    
11 Remove screw (14). TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
12 Release and disconnect electrical connector of cylinder 2 intake CAMTRONIC actuator (Y49/11).    
13 Release, disconnect electrical connector (21) and expose electric line.    
14 Release and disconnect electrical connector (19) of fuel injector for cylinder 4 (Y76/4).    
15 Release and disconnect electrical connector of right charge air temperature sensor (B17/15).    
16 Remove vacuum hoses (10) from boost pressure control pressure transducer (Y77/1).    
17 Remove screw (22) of right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor bracket (B163/6) at ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5). Engine 177.9 in model 290
with code 598 (Gasoline particulate filter (OPF) with sensor system)
 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
18 Unscrew the screws (8). TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
19 Unclip bracket (12) at engine lifting lug.    
20 Place engine wiring harness (1) with cable duct (2) to one side.    
21 Remove ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5).    
22 Check elastomer bearings (6) on ME-SFI control unit bracket (5) for damage. If damage is present on the elastomer bearings (6),
↓
Replace the elastomer bearings (6).
 
23 Remove elastomer bearings (6) at ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5). Only when replacing ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5).  
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Coat the elastomer bearings (6) with antifriction paste.  
    Antifriction paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DBL 6867.00 *BR00.45-Z-1002-06A 
24 Remove boost pressure control pressure transducer (Y77/1) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5). Only when replacing ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5).  
25 Remove clip (9) for upper engine cover. Only when replacing ME-SFI [ME] control unit bracket (5).  
26 Install in the reverse order.    
METRIC SCREWS/BOLTS AND NUTS AS PER MBN 10 105, 10 143
