| 1 | Remove heat shield from exhaust gas turbocharger. | AR09.40-P-6044MNI | |
| 2 | Remove right lambda sensor downstream of catalytic converter. | AR07.04-P-0084MNI | |
| 3 | Pull holder (1) with electrical connectors (2) upwards and place to one side. | ||
| 4 | Remove vacuum line (3) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs. | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Remove vacuum line (4) from vacuum pump (5) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs. | Fig 2 | |
| 6 | Remove bolts (7) and remove heat shield (6). | *BA43.05-P-1003-01O | |
| 7 | Remove vacuum line (8) from vacuum pump (5) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs. | Fig 2 | |
| 8 | Remove screws (9). | *BA43.05-P-1001-01O | |
| 9 | Remove vacuum pump (5) upwards. | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. |
