| 1 | Remove cover over brake fluid reservoir. | ||

| 3 | Unscrew cap of brake fluid reservoir and suction off some brake fluid. | ||

Do not operate the service brake while "Move to assembly position" is shown. Otherwise the spindle in the brake caliper (1) will be damaged. |

| 5 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||

| 7 | Unhook electric line (13) from holders. | When removing brake caliper (1) on right. | |
| 8 | Unhook electric line (14) from holders. | ||
| 9 | Disconnect plug (2) from brakepad wear sensor coupling housing (5). | When removing brake caliper (1) on right. | |
| 10 | Unscrew screw (4) and hang brakepad wear sensor coupling housing (5) to one side. | When removing brake caliper (1) on right. | |
| 11 | Release and disconnect electrical plug from electric parking brake actuator motor (M76/1 or M76/2). | ||

| 14 | Remove brake caliper (1) from brake caliper support (11). | The new brake caliper (1) is shipped in prefilled condition and it may not be drained. Otherwise the brake caliper (1) cannot be vented. |
