| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove bottom liftgate trim. | AR72.20-P-6617FRX | |
| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Disconnect electrical connector (1). | ||
| 4 | Mark position of the bolt heads of the screws (2). | ||
| 5 | Unscrew bolts (2). | ||

| 6 | Unhook wire (3) from trunk lid/liftgate lock (A85/5) and guide out trunk lid/liftgate lock (A85/5). | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. |
