Remove/Install Bluetooth Antenna - AR82.62-P-8980FR

REMOVING Remove     
1 Disconnect ground line from battery.   AR54.10-P-0003FR
2 Remove instrument panel cover (1). SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
3 Release driver side fuse and relay module (K40/6) and place to one side with lines attached.   AR54.15-P-0003FR
4 Remove driver knee airbag.   AR91.60-P-0200FR
5 Remove head unit (A26/17) far enough to gain access to electrical connectors at rear of unit.   AR82.85-P-1101FR 
6 Place head unit (A26/17) to one side with electrical lines connected. NOTES
Place head unit (A26/17) on a clean dry cloth.
Otherwise, components of the instrument panel or center console may be damaged.
 
7 Disconnect electric line (3) of Bluetooth® antenna (A2/91) from slot (6) of head unit (A26/17).    
8 Cut through electric line (3) of Bluetooth® antenna (A2/91) at both ends as close as possible to the instrument panel wiring harness. IMPORTANT The factory installed electric line (3) is permanently integrated into the instrument panel wiring harness. Therefore, the Bluetooth® antenna (A2/91) must be disconnected for replacement. The factory installed electric line (3) remains in the vehicle.  
9 Remove severed section of factory-installed electric line (3).    
10 Unclip and remove Bluetooth® antenna (A2/91) from instrument panel crossmember (2).    
INSTALLING Install     
11 Clip new Bluetooth® antenna (A2/91) onto instrument panel crossmember (2).    
12 Route electric line (3) of new Bluetooth® antenna (A2/91) along instrument panel wiring harness to device installation opening of head unit (A26/17) and fix in place using cable ties.    
13 Connect electric line (3) of new Bluetooth® antenna (A2/91) to slot (6) of head unit (A26/17).    
14 Install head unit (A26/17).   AR82.85-P-1101FR 
15 Install driver knee airbag.   AR91.60-P-0200FR
16 Install fuse and relay module on driver's side (K40/6).   AR54.15-P-0003FR
17 Install instrument panel cover (1).    
18 Connect ground line to battery.   AR54.10-P-0003FR
