1	Remove glove box.

2	Detach head unit and place to one side with lines still connected.

4	Remove trim at bottom for instrument panel on driver's side.

5	Release fuse and relay module on driver's side.

6	Produce adhesive film cutting template for CD drive (1).	Fabricate adhesive film cutting template for CD drive	AZ82.64-P-0002-05LF
7	Cut adhesive film to size using cutting template.
8	Fabricate cutting template for CD drive (1).		AZ82.64-P-0002-10LWP
9	Fabricate drilling template for CD drive (1).		AZ82.64-P-0002-07LWP
10	Prepare glove compartment housing for installation of CD drive (1).		AZ82.64-P-0002-08LWP
11	Make cutout at glove compartment housing.		AZ82.64-P-0002-11LWP
12	Retrofit wiring harness for CD drive (1).		AZ82.64-P-0002-01RX

13	Insert a fuse with a fuse rating of 5 A into slot 207 of driver's side fuse and relay module.
	Assignment of driver-side fuse and relay module		GF54.15-P-1256-49FR
14	Place glove compartment housing in front passenger footwell.
15	Retrofit CD drive (1) in glove compartment housing.		AZ82.64-P-0002-03LWR
16	Attach absorption fleece sheets at glove compartment housing.
17	Install glove compartment housing with CD drive (1).
			AR68.10-P-1402FR
		Pay attention to installation of lines.
18	Install remaining parts.
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
19	Enter special equipment into on-line vehicle data card.	Code 320 (Single CD drive pre-installation).
20	Attach note "CD drive retrofitted as per AZ82.64-P-0002RXR" and "USB port in rear passenger compartment decommissioned" under field organization texts to DG 82 and DG 54.
21	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle using vehicle identification number (VIN).

22	Perform variant coding using the software calibration number (SCN).	Head unit.
23	Disconnect diagnostic system.
