| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove left/right door trim (1). | AR72.10-P-6575FR | |
| 2 | Remove driver's side power window assembly switch group and outside mirror adjustment (S20) or right front power window assembly switch group (S20s2). | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. |

| 3.1 | Drill plastic spot welds (4). | If the armrest (2) is fastened using plastic spot welds (4). |

| 3.2 | Unscrew screws from armrest (2). | If the armrest (2) is fastened using screws. | |
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector on armrest (2). | Model 257, 290 with code 906 (Front armrest heater) |

| 5 | Release and remove armrest (2) from the catch tabs (3). | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order. |
