2	Remove camshaft positioner of intake camshaft (4).	When replacing the intake camshaft (4).

3	Remove camshaft positioner of exhaust camshaft (5).	When replacing the exhaust camshaft (5).

4	Remove cylinder head cover from camshaft housing.		AR01.20-P-5019MSC

5	Remove exhaust camshaft (5) from camshaft housing lower section (2).

6	Remove intake camshaft (4) from camshaft housing lower section (2).

	Install
7	Insert exhaust camshaft (5) in camshaft housing lower section (2).
	Specified engine oils (service) - Overview		BB00.40-P-0223-02A
		Wet camshaft bearing points with engine oil.
8	Insert end stop (A) into intake camshaft (4).	Assembly tool	Fig 2
9	Insert spacer (B) into intake camshaft (4).	Assembly tool	Fig 2
10	Press CAMTRONIC element (4a) in specified direction (arrow C) against spacer (B)	Assembly tool	Fig 2
11	Insert intake camshaft (4) in camshaft housing lower section (2).
	Specified engine oils (service) - Overview		BB00.40-P-0223-02A
		Wet camshaft bearing points with engine oil. Ensure that the CAMTRONIC element (4a) is not twisted during insertion (arrow D).
12	Remove spacer (B) and end stop (A).	Assembly tool	Fig 2

14	Install camshaft positioner of exhaust camshaft (5).	When replacing the exhaust camshaft (5).
