| 2 | Remove front door sill on passenger side. | AR68.30-P-4100ME | |
| 3 | Remove front floor covering on passenger side. | AR68.80-P-0008ME | |
| 4 | Remove air ducts (1). | ||
| 5 | Remove trim at bottom of B-pillar. | AR68.30-P-4700ME | |
| 6 | Fold back floor covering (2). | ||
| 7 | Unclip expansion rivets (3). | Fig 2 | |
| 8 | Remove air duct (4). | ||
| 9 | Unscrew nuts (5). | ||
| 10 | Remove the cover (6). | ||
| 11 | Unclip electrical lines (7) (arrows). | Model 167 with code 235 (Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC) with code B01 (48V technology) | |

| 12 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from parking system control unit (N62). | ||
| 13 | Remove parking system control unit (N62). | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 15 | Commission parking system control unit (N62) | If the parking system control unit (N62) was replaced. | |
