  1. Screw in shutoff valves (3, 4) up to end stop. TORQUE SPECIFICATION

IMPORTANT The hydraulic pressure in the shock absorber (7) can only be retained by closing the shutoff valves (3, 4). It is not possible to fill the shock absorbers (7).

  2. Clean area around connection fittings (5, 6).

NOTES No dirt is allowed to enter into the system.

Otherwise, the shock absorbers (7) may be damaged.

  3. Release connection fittings (5, 6) until the first drops of hydraulic fluid escape.

NOTES Do not completely unscrew connection fittings (5, 6).

Otherwise, the hydraulic fluid may escape in an uncontrolled manner.

IMPORTANT Collect escaping hydraulic fluid using suitable container.

  4. Wait until hydraulic fluid no longer runs out and a system pressure of zero bar is shown in the diagnostic system.
  5. Remove connection fittings (5, 6).

    Install

  6. Screw connection fittings (5 6) into shock absorber (7).

IMPORTANT The shutoff valves (3, 4) are opened during the filling process for the system's hydraulic pressure lines.

  7. Clean area around connection fittings (5, 6) again. TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  8. Apply preservation agent in area around shutoff valves (3, 4) and connection fittings (5, 6).

IMPORTANT Ensure that preservation agent does not enter into connection fittings (5, 6).
