Notes for E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL suspension: 

• The connection fittings and hose connections must be cleaned before starting the repair.
• Open connection fittings and hose connections must be sealed to prevent dirt particles from entering into the system.
• Emptying and filling the system may only be performed with the guided diagnosis.
• Before each emptying procedure, the shutoff valves of the respective shock absorber must be screwed in up to the end stop.
• Only by screwing in the shutoff valves can the hydraulic pressure in the shock absorber be retained. It is not possible to fill the shock absorbers.
• When filling the suspension system, ensure that sufficient hydraulic fluid is in the filling unit.
• Ensure absolute cleanliness when pouring in the hydraulic fluid.
• The funnel with filter that is used for adding the hydraulic fluid must not be used for other operating fluids. Store the funnel with filter in a separate cabinet.
• Due to high pressures in the E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL, work on the system must be conducted with the utmost care.
• Hydraulic line: If the sealing ring is damaged, only the sealing ring must be replaced. If the support ring is damaged, the complete hydraulic line must be replaced.
