| 1 | Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 2 | Remove front section of fender liner in right or left front fender. | AR88.10-P-1301ME | |
| 3 | Remove air duct segment and additional cooler in right wheel arch. | Model 167 with engine 176, 177, 656 If right frontal acceleration sensor (B48/2) is removed. |

| 4 | Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect. | ||
| 5 | Unscrew screw (2) and remove left frontal acceleration sensor (B48/1) or right frontal acceleration sensor (B48/2). | ||
