| 2.1 | Cut back residues of damaged bracket (arrows A, B, C) until the corresponding repair bracket (1, 2, 3) can be fitted. | If no repair bracket (1, 2, 3) has been installed yet. | |

| 2.2 | Unscrew screws of damaged repair bracket (1 2, 3) and remove respective repair bracket (1, 2, 3). | If a repair bracket (1, 2, 3) has already been installed. | |
| 3 | Clean and deburr repair area on front lamp unit (E1, E2). | ||
| Check | |||
| 4 | Check front lamp unit (E1, E2) for further signs of damage. | If mounts or housing of front lamp unit (E1, E2) are damaged, ↓ replace front lamp unit (E1, E2). |

| 5.1 | Align setting screw (4) of new repair bracket (1, 2, 3) according to setting screw (4) of damaged bracket (arrows A, B, C). | If no repair bracket (1, 2, 3) has been installed yet. | |
| 5.2 | Align setting screw (4) of new repair bracket (1, 2, 3) according to setting screw (4) of damaged bracket (1, 2, 3). | If a repair bracket (1, 2, 3) has already been installed. | |
| 6 | Position repair bracket (1, 2, 3) on front lamp unit (E1, E2) and secure on mounts (5). | ||
