REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform commissioning of head unit (A26/17). When replacing head unit (A26/17).  
REFER TO SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
3.1 Remove cover from center console. Model 205 with transmission 722, 724, 725 up to model year 2019

3.2 Remove cover for upper control panel control unit. Model 205 with transmission 716 up to model year 2019

4 Loosen screws (1) on locks (2). IMPORTANT Screws/bolts (1) remain on locks (2).  
5 Guide head unit (A26/17) out of locks (2) until the electrical connectors (3, 4) are accessible. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Retaining bolts (arrows) of head unit (A26/17) must be inserted into the locks (2).  
6 Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors (4) can vary depending on the equipment installed.  
7 Remove head unit (A26/17).    
8 Install in the reverse order.
