  1. Install rear-end center section (1) and fit.
  2. Install trunk lid seal.
  3. Install striker eye.
  4. Check gaps using SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge and adjust. Model 177.0

    Model 247.0/6/7

  5. Fix rear-end center section (1) in place.
  6. Remove trunk lid seal.
  7. Remove striker eye.
  8. Drill rivet holes on the rear-end center section (1) with Ø 6.7 mm bit through the existing holes in the body and countersink (areas A1 , A 2 , A3 and A4 ).
  9. Remove rear-end center section (1).
  10. Deburr rivet holes on rear-end center section (1) and body on both sides.
  11. Remove drill chips.
  12. Coat inside of the riveted joints that will not be bonded with zinc dust paint.

  13. In the cross-hatched area, apply the 2-component adhesive on body.

    IMPORTANT Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

  14. Install rear-end center section (1) and fix in place.
  15. Rivet ear-end center section (1) with Ø 6.4x14, 0 mm countersunk-head blind rivet (area C1 , C2 , C3 and C4 ).

  16. Rear-end center section (1) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (area D1 , D 2 , D3 , D4 , D5 , D6 , D7 , and D8 ).
