Compare specified values against actual values.
Adjust
Using LS holding device (055) fix steering wheel in center position, to do so insert holding device (055) in front of sun visor.
Check center position of steering gear and steering wheel.
If a deviation is found, ↓

set the steering gear to the center position or shift steering wheel by a maximum of one tooth.

Insert wheel spreader (030) in direction of travel at front on interior side of wheel.
Commercially available devices/tools:

Counterhold tie rod (1) on hexagon and release counternut (2).
Adjust toe by turning the tie rod (1).
Tighten jam nut (2)
Remove wheel spreader.
Check boot for twisting, align if necessary.
Remove holding device.
