	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

7	Support and secure rear axle differential (1).

8	Counterhold nuts and remove screws (4).	Nut, rear axle differential to rear axle carrier at front (multi-link axle)	*BA35.31-P-1001-07A
		Bolt, rear axle differential to rear axle carrier at rear (multi-link axle)	*BA35.31-P-1002-07A
9	Pry right rear axle shaft (5r) out of rear axle differential (1) and secure against falling down		AR35.30-P-0621MFC
		Do not damage radial shaft sealing ring of right rear axle shaft (5r). Otherwise leaks may occur.
10	Lower and remove rear axle differential (1).

11	Install in the reverse order.
12	Check and correct oil level in rear axle differential (1).		AR35.31-P-0520-08MFC

13	Reset wear data in all-wheel drive control unit (N15/17) using diagnostic system.	When replacing rear axle differential (1).

14	Check rear axle differential (1) for leak tightness.
15	Install trim of rear axle carrier.
