| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Detach threaded connections of suspension strut (1) from strut tower and from lower transverse control arm (2). | AR32.25-P-1017XG | |
| 2 | Unclip electrical lines at suspension strut (1) from brackets. | ||
| 3 | Secure suspension strut (1) on steering knuckle to prevent it from falling. | Do not kink or crush the electrical lines. | |
| 4 | Connect hollow cylinder (3.2) to hydraulic hose and hand pump. | Fig 2 | |

| 5 | Position hollow cylinder (3.2) with threaded rod (3.1) and spacer (3.3) on lower transverse control arm (2). | Fig 4 | |

| 6 | On opposite side, attach press-out sleeve (3.4) and threaded ball (3.5) to threaded rod (3.1) | Fig 4 | |

| 7 | Press out shock absorber mount (4) in direction of arrow. | Replace shock absorber mount (4). |

| 8 | Thoroughly clean bearing surfaces of shock absorber mount (3) on lower control arm (2) and check for damage. | If the lower transverse control arm (2) is damaged, ↓ Replace lower transverse control arm (2). |
