Replace Shock Absorber Mount On Lower Control Arm Of Front Axle - AR32.25-P-0111XG

Model 463 as of model year 2019

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Detach threaded connections of suspension strut (1) from strut tower and from lower transverse control arm (2).   AR32.25-P-1017XG 
2 Unclip electrical lines at suspension strut (1) from brackets.    
3 Secure suspension strut (1) on steering knuckle to prevent it from falling. Do not kink or crush the electrical lines.  
4 Connect hollow cylinder (3.2) to hydraulic hose and hand pump. SPECIAL TOOL Hand pump Fig 2

5 Position hollow cylinder (3.2) with threaded rod (3.1) and spacer (3.3) on lower transverse control arm (2). SPECIAL TOOL Extraction/insertion tool Fig 4

    SPECIAL TOOL Hydraulic hose (complete) Fig 6
6 On opposite side, attach press-out sleeve (3.4) and threaded ball (3.5) to threaded rod (3.1) NOTES Observe the correct installation position of the spacer (3.3) and the press-out sleeve (3.4). Otherwise the lower transverse control arm (2) will be damaged.

7 Press out shock absorber mount (4) in direction of arrow. Replace shock absorber mount (4).
NOTES Observe the correct installation position of the spacer (3.3) and the press-out sleeve (3.4). Otherwise the lower transverse control arm (2) will be damaged.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Press shock absorber mount (4) into lower transverse control arm (2) in direction of arrow.

8 Thoroughly clean bearing surfaces of shock absorber mount (3) on lower control arm (2) and check for damage. If the lower transverse control arm (2) is damaged,

Replace lower transverse control arm (2).

9 Install in reverse order.
