| 2 | Remove seal (11). | ||
| 3 | Check seal (11) for damage. | If seal (11) is damaged, ↓ Replace seal (11). |

| 4 | Remove screws/bolts (9). | Screws (9) must be screwed-in alternately. Otherwise, the expansion valve (10) may be tilted on the connection fitting. |

| 6 | Seal openings of expansion valve (10) and refrigerant lines using suitable stop plugs. | The openings of the expansion valve (10) and refrigerant lines must be sealed. Otherwise, ingressed dirt and moisture will damage the air conditioning system. |
