	Remove
1	Remove right high-pressure line.		AR07.03-P-1002XGC
		: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.
2	Remove right low-pressure line from the cylinder head cover and the fuel high-pressure pump.		AR07.03-P-1132XGC
3	Disconnect engine wiring harness.		AR15.18-P-1000-06XGC
4	Remove brackets (11).
5	Mark fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) relative to the respective cylinder.	When reusing fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4).
6	Remove screws/bolts (1).	Unscrew screws (1) alternately by half a revolution in each case. Start in the center of the rail (4) and work outward. Otherwise, damage to the rail (4) will occur.
7	Remove rail (4) from the fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) and seal connections with suitable stop plugs.	Record plug	Fig 2
8	Pull fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) out of the cylinder head and seal injector shaft holes with suitable stop plugs.		AR07.03-P-0004-03MM

9	Check fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) for external damage and replace if necessary.	On reuse of fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4).
	Install
10	Clean fuel connections on the fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4).		AR07.03-P-1010-04MM
		If the fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) are replaced, they must immediately be installed after removing the transport protection caps. Leaks can occur otherwise. For cleaning the fuel connections, hold downwards. Otherwise, failure of the fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) will occur.

12	Install new sealing rings (12, 13) on the fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4).
13	Install new sealing rings (14) on the fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4).		AR07.03-P-0004-01MM

14	Install fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) in the rail (4) and fasten with the brackets (11)	On reuse of fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4), they must be inserted in the cylinder in which they were previously fitted. Engine damage will occur otherwise. Install new brackets (11).
15	Read off injector injection quantity adjustment coding on the fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) and note.	On replacing fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4).
16	Install rail (4) with fuel injectors of cylinders 1 to 4 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3, Y76/4) in the right cylinder head.
17	Tighten screws (1).	Screw in screws (1) alternately by half a revolution in each case. Start in the center of the rail (4) and work outward. Otherwise, damage to the rail (4) will occur.
