	Remove/install
1	Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery (G1).		AR54.10-P-0003XG
2	Remove the bracket on the expansion reservoir for the low-temperature circuit.		AR09.41-P-0017XGC
		: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.
3	Remove noise insulation (5).
4	Remove left air filter housing.		AR09.10-P-1151XGC
5	Remove filler neck.		AR01.40-P-0004XGC
6	Unclip electric line at engine lifting lug (6).
7	Remove engine lifting lug (6).	Bolt, heat shield/rear lifting eye to cylinder head	*BA01.30-P-1003-01N
8	Disconnect engine wiring harness.		AR15.18-P-1000-07XGC
		Screw, cable duct to cylinder head cover/charge air cooler/heat shield, right	*BA15.18-P-1003-01G
		Bolt, engine wiring harness ground to cylinder head cover	*BA15.10-P-1003-05F

9	Remove purge lines (1) from boot (2) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.	M6 X 1	*BA00.10-P-1002-04A

10	Remove bleed line (3) from left cylinder head cover.	: Replace sealing ring.

11	Remove retaining clip (4) from low-pressure line with service connection (9).	Engine 177 in model 463 as of model year 2019 with code KA3 (Gasoline particulate filter (OPF) with sensor system)
12	Clean area around left low-pressure line with service connection (9).	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
13	Remove fuel supply line (8) from service connection and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.	Union nut, fuel hose to diagnostic socket/fuel line	*BA07.03-P-1006-01H

14	Remove brackets of left low-pressure line with service connection (9) from left cylinder head cover and bracket of coolant return line of exhaust gas turbochargers.	Bolt, fuel line clamp to engine/bracket	*BA07.03-P-1004-01H
15	Remove left low-pressure line with service connection (9) from fuel high-pressure pump (7) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.	Union nut, fuel line to fuel distributor/fuel system high-pressure pump	*BA07.03-P-1001-01H

16	Open clamps of low-pressure line.	: After opening the clamps, replace hose with clamps. Leaks can occur otherwise. Commercially available devices/tools  Clamping pliers
17	Remove left low-pressure line with service connection (9) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.	Record plug	Fig 1
18	Check left low-pressure line with service connection (9) for damage.		AR07.03-P-1120-01MNE
		Assembly cleaner If there are problems, ↓ Replace left low-pressure line with service connection (9).	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
19	Remove brackets of low-pressure line with service connection (9).	When replacing low-pressure line with service connection (9).
20	Install in the reverse order.
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
21	Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
