WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray.
Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.
Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove lower engine compartment paneling Engine 176 in model 463.234 up to model year 2019 with code ZQ0 (G 500 4x42 ) AR61.20-P-1105GWX
    Engine 176, 642 in model 463
as of model year 2016 up to model year 2019
except code ZQ0 (G 500 4x42)

  Drain off     
2 Unscrew cap (1) on the upper low-temperature circuit coolant expansion reservoir (2)    
3 Open hose clamp (3) SPECIAL TOOL Hose clamp pliers Fig 3
4 Detach coolant hose (4) from coolant line (5) and catch escaping coolant in a suitable container    
  Pour in     
5 Push coolant hose (4) onto coolant line (5)    
6 Close off clamp (3) SPECIAL TOOL Hose clamp pliers Fig 3
7 Add coolant and bleed low-temperature circuit IMPORTANT Use clean coolant. AR20.00-P-1142-04A

8 Check low-temperature circuit for leaktightness   AR09.41-P-1011MNF 
9 Screw on cap (1) on upper low-temperature circuit coolant expansion reservoir (2)    
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10 Perform an engine test run and check cooling system for proper operation
