| 1 | Remove left high-pressure line. | AR07.03-P-1001XGC | |
| 2 | Remove left low-pressure line with service connection from left cylinder head cover and fuel high-pressure pump (1). | AR07.03-P-1130XGC | |
| 3 | Remove coolant hose (3) from engine lifting lug (4) and place to one side. | ||
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2). | ||
| 5 | Clean area around fuel high-pressure pump (1). | Assembly cleaner | *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A |
| 6 | Remove screws (5) and remove fuel high- pressure pump (1) in upward direction. | Remove/screw in screws (5) alternately by half a turn in each case. Damage will otherwise occur to the fuel high-pressure pump (1). |
