| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Operate brake pedal several times. | ||
| 3 | Open hood. | AR88.40-P-1000XG | |
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) at brake vacuum sensor (B150). | ||
| 5 | Remove brake vacuum sensor (B150) from BAS brake booster (A7/7). | ||
| Check | |||
| 6 | Check seal plug (2) for condition and wear. | If wear or damage is present. ↓ Replace seal plug (2). |

| 7 | Install in reverse order. | ||
| Check | |||
| 8 | Start engine and depress brake pedal several times. | ||
| 9 | Switch off engine. | ||
| 10 | Check leak tightness of the brake vacuum sensor (B150). |
