Remove/Install Brake Vacuum Sensor - AR42.31-P-6003XG

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m).    
2 Operate brake pedal several times. IMPORTANT In order to reduce the vacuum present in the BAS brake booster (A7/7).  
3 Open hood. IMPORTANT Close the hood only after check. AR88.40-P-1000XG
4 Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) at brake vacuum sensor (B150).    
5 Remove brake vacuum sensor (B150) from BAS brake booster (A7/7). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that the seal plug (2) and the brake vacuum sensor (B150) are seated correctly.  
INSPECT Check     
6 Check seal plug (2) for condition and wear. If wear or damage is present.

Replace seal plug (2).
 
7 Install in reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
8 Start engine and depress brake pedal several times.    
9 Switch off engine.    
10 Check leak tightness of the brake vacuum sensor (B150). IMPORTANT Air flow noises must not be audible at the BAS brake booster (A7/7).
