9	Mark position of the connector couplings in the respective cutouts of the center part of the instrument panel (1).	Pay attention to marking.
10	Remove glove box.		AR68.10-P-1400GW
11	Remove instrument cluster (A1).		AR54.30-P-6015GW
12	Remove bolts (5).	Remove bracket (4) only after removing the instrument panel (1). Do not remove bracket (4).

13	Release and disconnect electrical connector from front passenger airbag squib 1 (R12/4).	Removal lever	Fig 2
14	Remove screws (2) from the instrument panel (1).	Bolt, instrument panel to mounting console on A-pillar	*BA68.10-P-1001-01D
15	Pull out instrument panel (1) somewhat toward the vehicle interior and remove screws (7) of the air ducts (6).
16	Disconnect air ducts (6) from the side air vents.	Ensure that the air ducts (6) are seated correctly.
17	Release electrical wiring harness (8) from the instrument panel (1).
18	Release and disconnect electrical connector from the right instrument panel tweeter (H4/34).
19	Release and disconnect electrical connector from the left instrument panel tweeter (H4/33).
20	Release and disconnect electrical connector from the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73).
21	Remove instrument panel (1) upward at an angle in the direction of the vehicle interior.	Helper required.
22	Screw in all adjusters (3) at the attachment points of the instrument panel (1) up to end stop.	The adjusters (3) have a left-hand thread. Thus, the tolerance compensation occurs automatically when screwing in.
23	Install in the reverse order.
	Concluding tasks
24	Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory and clear if necessary.

25	Perform function test of all removed and installed devices and major assemblies.
