Remove Rear Floor Assembly Reinforcement - Ar64.20-P-1141-01XG

Model 463 as of model year 2019 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The higher-level service information as well as the safety information must be observed.

1. Expose and cut off spot welds at reinforcement (4) (areas A).
2. Expose spot welds at reinforcement (4) and drill out with Ø 6.5 mm (area B).
3. Remove reinforcement (4).

4. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

5. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
6. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
