Partially Remove Rear Floor Assembly - Ar64.20-P-1310-01XG
Model 463 as of model year 2019
The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The safety information must be observed.
- Mark separating points on rear-end floor (1) and cut (areas A).
- Expose spot welds on rear-end floor (1) and cut off (areas B, C).
Do not make the cuts too deep.
Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.
Cut off spot welds from underneath (area C).
Dimensions:
a1 = approx. 210 mm
a2 = approx. 265 mm
- Heat mating surfaces in crosshatched areas.
Cross-h atched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Expose spot weld on rear-end floor (1) and cut off from outside (area D).
- Bend up wheel arch flange in direction of arrow.
- Remove rear floor assembly (1).
- Mark separating point on longitudinal member (2) and cut (area E).
Do not cut too deeply.
Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.
Dimensions:
e = approx. 20 mm
- Unscrew screw (4).
- Remove longitudinal member (2).
- Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
- Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surface (area F).
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in crosshatched areas (areas G, H).
Grind spot weld flange down to bare metal on both sides (area G).
Grind mating surface on underside down to bare metal (area H).
- Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surface (area H).
- Apply zinc dust paint to inside of spot weld flange (area G).
