| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Disconnect ground line at battery. | AR54.10-P-0003XG | |
| 3 | Remove roof lining. | AR68.30-P-4300XG | |
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2). | ||
| 5 | Remove the screw (3). | *BA91.60-P-1005-01B | |
| 6 | Insert pliers into openings of spring clips (4.1) and press the clamp shackles (arrows A) together. | ||
| 7 | Remove spring clips (4.1) in clamped position in direction of arrow (B) from holders (4). | ||
| 8 | Unhook gas generator and remove window airbag (1). | ||
| 9 | Install in reverse order. | ||

| 10 | Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) When replacing the windowbag (1). using vehicle diagnosis system. | ||
