| 4 | Remove bolts (1) | ||
| 5 | Unscrew nut (2) | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) and remove speaker (4) | ||
| 7 | Remove screw/bolt (5), and lay belt guide bracket (6) down in vehicle | *BA91.40-P-1002-01U | |
| 8 | Disconnect electrical connection (7) | ||
| 9 | Remove bolt (8) | *BA91.40-P-1001-01U | |
| 10 | Remove seat belt retractor with reversible emergency tensioning retractor (9) from B-pillar | ||
| 11 | Unclip electrical line (10) (arrow) | Fig 1 | |
| 12 | Disconnect electrical connection (11) | ||
| 13 | Dispose of removed seat belt retractor with reversible emergency tensioning retractor (9) properly | When replacing seat belt retractor with reversible emergency tensioning retractor (9). | |
| 14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 15 | Check seat belt slack reduction |
