	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Remove
1	Remove door trim of Rear door.		AR72.12-P-1010LW
		Do not expose electric lines and electrical connectors to high tensile forces. This can lead to contact problems and discontinuity.
		Do not disconnect electrical connectors from Rear door control unit.
2	Release window frame lining (2) in area of B-pillar starting at bottom by approx. 40 cm.
3.1	Release inner sealing rail (3) starting at Front window frame by approx. 40 cm.	Model 205.0/1/2, 213.0/2, 253, 293
		Carefully lift inner sealing rail (3) out of fold of inner door panel.  Otherwise the inner sealing rail (3) can deform and must be replaced.

4	Release window guide seal (4) and contoured gasket (5) in area of B-pillar and remove panel (6).	Model 205.0/1/2 Model 213.0/2 Model 253 Model 293	AR72.12-P-1911LW

5	Remove rubber grommet (7) from door module (8).
6	Move side window (1) to service position so that screw (9) can be accessed through access opening in door module (8).
7	Disconnect electrical connectors at Rear door control unit and move door trim out of working area.
8	Release screw (9).	Do not unscrew screw (9).
9	Remove side window (1) upwards from window channel.
	Install
10	Insert side window (1) from above into window channel by exerting slight pressure in direction of window divider (arrows) until it is supported in mount.
11	Tighten screw (9).	Bolt, window to window lifter	*BA72.12-P-1006-01R
12	Install rubber grommet (7) in door module (8).
13	Connect electrical wiring harness of removed door trim with Rear door control unit.
14	Lower side window (1).

16	Wet rubber seal of inner sealing rail (3) with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
17	Secure inner sealing rail (3).
18	Secure window frame lining (2).
19	Install door trim of Rear door.		AR72.12-P-1010LW
