	Remove/install
1	Remove both C-pillar trims and guide out of working area along seat belts	Do not remove belt end fittings.	AR68.30-P-4490FR
2.1	Fold over folding seat backrests	Model 257 with code 287 (Folding seat backrests in rear passenger compartment)
2.2	Remove backrest in rear	Model 257 except code 287 (Folding seat backrests in rear passenger compartment)	AR91.12-P-1713FR
3	Remove anchor fitting of center seat belt	Model 257 except code 287 (Folding seat backrests in rear passenger compartment) Ensure bulb is correctly installed. Bolt, rear belt end fitting	*BA91.40-P-1005-01U
4	Remove spacers (2)	Clip remover	Fig 2
5	Loosen screws/bolts (3)
6	Release catches (4) on rear shelf (1) and push rear shelf (1) slightly toward front	Ensure correct seating of arrests (4).
7	Disconnect electrical connection (5)
8	Disconnect electrical connector (6)	Model 257 with code 540 (Electric sunblind for rear window)
9	Disconnect electrical connector (7)	Model 257 with code 810 (Sound system) Model 257 with code 811 (Advanced sound system)
10	Lift rear shelf (1) and guide center seat belt with anchor fitting through cover (8) of center seat belt guide	Model 257 except code 287 (Folding seat backrests in rear passenger compartment)
11	Remove rear shelf (1) from vehicle	Helper required.
12	Install in the reverse order
