	Remove/install
1	Perform initial start-up of Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4)	When replacing Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4).
			AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
3	Remove left luggage compartment lining at side	Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) except code 811 (Advanced sound system)	AR68.30-P-4800FR
4	Remove subwoofer from trunk	Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with code 811 (Advanced sound system)	AR82.62-P-7841FR
5	Remove bolts (1), unscrew nuts (2) and remove bracket (3) with sound system control unit and place to one side	Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with code 810 (Sound system) Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with code 811 (Advanced sound system) Do not separate the electrical connectors.
6	Remove holder (4) with control units and place to one side	Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with code 459 (Steel suspension with adjustable damping) Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL) Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with code B63 (Sporty engine sound) Do not separate the electrical connectors. The number of control units installed on the holder (4) can vary depending on the vehicle equipment installed.
7	Unscrew nut (6), remove bolts (5) and remove holder (7) with control units, then place to one side	Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL) Model 257 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with code 881 (Remote boot lid closing) If installed. Do not separate the electrical connectors. The number of control units installed on the holder (7) can vary depending on the vehicle equipment installed.
8	Release bolts (8), remove holder (9) with Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4) and place into vehicle
9	Disconnect electrical connector from Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4)
10	Unclip Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4) from holder (9) and remove
11	Install in the reverse order
