	Remove
1	Remove corresponding rear axle shaft (37).	Model 205 (except 205.386/387/486/487), 253 (except 253.388/389/988/989/992/993)	AR35.30-P-0621LW

2	Use suitable tool to pry out radial shaft sealing ring (32a) from rear axle differential (50).	Do not damage seat surface of radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in rear axle differential (50). Otherwise leaks may occur.
3	Clean seat surface of radial shaft sealing ring (32) in rear axle differential (50).	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
4	Check seat surface of radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in rear axle differential (50) for damage.	If damage is present, ↓ Replace rear axle differential (50).

	Install
5	Coat sealing lip of new radial shaft sealing ring (32a) with transmission oil.
	Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7		BB00.40-P-0235-07A
		Do not apply any oil to the seat surface in the rear axle differential (50) and around the outer circumference of the radial shaft sealing ring (32a). Otherwise leaks may occur.
6	Press in new radial shaft sealing ring (32a) with drift (03) far enough that the drift (03) makes contact at the rear axle differential (50)	Drift	Fig 2
7	Replace retaining ring (37o) at inner splined profile of corresponding rear axle shaft (37).
8	Install corresponding rear axle shaft (37).	Model 205 (except 205.386/387/486/487), 253 (except 253.388/389/988/989/992/993)	AR35.30-P-0621LW
