	Remove/install
1	Remove rear axle rpm sensor and place to one side with line connected		AR42.40-P-0820LW
2	Remove strut rod (1) from wheel carrier (2) and fold downwards	The screwdriver bit is to be used when a bolt with multi-point socket profile is installed.

3	Position extraction and insertion tool (4) at wheel carrier (2) and elastomer bearing (3) as shown
	High temperature antifriction bearing grease (NLGI grade 2)		BB00.40-P-0265-01A
		Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (4) with rolling-element bearing grease. Otherwise the extraction and insertion too (4) could be damaged. Make sure that the extraction and insertion tool (4) is seated correctly.

4	Pull elastomer bearing (3) out of wheel carrier (2) in direction of arrow and remove
	High temperature antifriction bearing grease (NLGI grade 2)		BB00.40-P-0265-01A
		Again grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (4) with rolling-element bearing grease. Otherwise the extraction and insertion too (4) could be damaged. : Pull the new elastomer bearing (3) into the wheel carrier (2) until the extraction and insertion tool (4) reaches its end stop.
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Perform wheel alignment check		AR40.20-P-0200LW
