	Remove
1	Remove left oil separator.	Engine 178 in model 190 (except 190.381)	AR01.20-P-9750MNB

2	Release and disconnect electrical connector o left exhaust camshaft solenoid and left intake camshaft solenoid.	f Engine 176 in model 463 up to model year 2019
3	Remove screws (2).
4	Carefully release left front cover (1) at prying lugs and remove to the front.	To loosen do drive in any tooling between the left front cover (1) and left cylinder head cover or left cylinder head. The sealing surface will be damaged otherwise.
5	Remove left exhaust camshaft solenoid and left intake camshaft solenoid.	Only when replacing left front cover (1).	AR05.20-P-7295MNA
	Clean
6	Clean sealing surfaces at left cylinder head, left cylinder head cover and left front cover (1).	Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper. The sealing surfaces can be damaged otherwise.	AR01.00-P-0050-01A

	Install
7	Install left exhaust camshaft solenoid and left intake camshaft solenoid.	Only when replacing left front cover (1).	AR05.20-P-7295MNA
8	Apply sealant to left front cover (1). Notes on sealant path for front cover to cylinder head xxx		AH01.30-P-1000-02MM
		Sealant, Loctite 5970, 50 ml	*BR00.45-Z-1013-01A

9	Attach left front cover (1) to left cylinder head and left cylinder head cover and tighten bolts (2).	Replace screw/bolts (2). Bolt, chain case cover to cylinder head	*BA01.30-P-1002-01N
10	Attach electrical connector of left exhaust camshaft solenoid and left intake camshaft solenoid and lock.	Engine 176 in model 463 up to model year 2019	AR05.20-P-7295MNA

13	Perform engine test run and check engine in terms of leak tightness while engine is running
