CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels. AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove paneling from soft top at front   AR68.30-P-4320LWR 
2 Move soft top to repair position R3 IMPORTANTInstallation:  Move soft top to repair position R4. AR77.30-P-1030LWR
3 Remove dome lamp Model 238.4  
4 Mark installation position of bolts (2) on strip (3)    
5 Unscrew bolts (2) from strip (3) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Align strip (3) according to markings.  
6 Remove seal (4) on outer left and right on rails (5) and remove together with strip (3)    
7 Mark installation position of bolts (6) on rails (5)    
8 Unscrew screws (6) and remove rails (5) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Observe number of spacer washers (7) for each bolt (6).
Align rails (5) according to markings.		  
9 Unhook headliner (1) at front from hooks (arrows)    
10 Knock off rivet (8) and remove rivet residues IMPORTANTInstallation:  Observe size of rivets (8).  
11 Remove tensioning cables on headliner (1) from soft top frame   AR68.30-P-4303-01LWR 
12 Remove expansion rivet (9) on front retaining strip (10) and detach front retaining strip (10) from front soft top bow (11)    
13 Remove expansion rivet (9) on center retaining strip (12) and detach center retaining strip (12) from center soft top bow (13) IMPORTANT If required, slightly close soft top manually.  
14 Remove expansion rivet (9) on rear retaining strip (14) and detach rear retaining strip (14) from rear soft top bow (15)    
15 Move soft top manually to repair position R2 IMPORTANTInstallation:  Move soft top manually to repair position R3. AR77.30-P-1030LWR
16 Remove expansion rivet (16) from headliner (1) at rear IMPORTANT Model 238.4
Screws are installed instead of expansion rivets (16).		  
17 Remove piping (17) from soft top bow (18) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Align piping (17) in center.  
18 Remove piping (19) from rear window (20) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Align piping (19) in center.  
19 Remove headliner (1) from vehicle interior    
20 Install in the reverse order
