Remove/Install Lift Solenoid Of Intake Camshaft - AR05.20-P-6560MRI

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing engine oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove upper engine cover. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Installation: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test. AR01.10-P-2405MRI
2 Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.    
3 Remove screws (2). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, valve lift switch actuator to cylinder head cover *BA05.20-P-1005-05A 
4 Remove the intake camshaft valve lift changeover actuator (Y49/8).    
5 Check that both pins of intake camshaft valve lift adjustment actuator (Y49/8) are retracted. NOTES Do not pull out the pins of the intake camshaft valve lift switching actuator (Y49/8). Otherwise this will cause damage. If problems exist,

Replace the intake camshaft valve lift switching actuator (Y49/8).
 
6 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
WARNING Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation  and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7 Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness
