| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Move driver's seat or front passenger seat forward. | ||
| 2 | Fold rear left and rear right seat backrests forward. | ||
| 3 | Remove rear-end center-section trim. | AR68.30-P-4786MFA | |
| 4 | Remove edge guard in working area. | ||
| 5 | Remove cover over screw (2). | ||
| 6 | Unscrew screw (2) and remove tie-down eye. | *BA68.50-P-1001-03I | |
| 7 | Unclip expansion rivets (3). | Fig 1 | |
| 8 | Remove nuts (4) and remove mounting support (5). | ||
| 9 | Remove side trim in trunk (1) until electrical connector at rear can be accessed and release and disconnect electrical connector. | Model 177.0 with code U35 (12 V socket in load area) Only on left-hand side of the vehicle. |

| 10 | Remove side trim in trunk (1). | Ensure that side trim in trunk (1) correctly engages with adjacent trims. Damage to adjacent trim can otherwise occur. |

| 11 | Remove load compartment socket. | Model 177.0 with code U35 (12 V socket in load area) When replacing side trim in trunk (1) at left side of vehicle. |

| 12 | Install in the reverse order. |
