| 11 | Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (8) from crankshaft | ||

| 12 | Check contact surface of the radial shaft sealing ring (5) on hub of the belt pulley/vibration damper (8) for scoring and galling | For scoring and galling ↓ Replace belt pulley/vibration damper (8). |

| 13 | Check front radial shaft sealing ring (5) for damage | If damage is present ↓ Replace front radial shaft sealing ring (5). |
