Remove/Install WLAN Antenna - AR82.85-P-0004WM

	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Unclip side cover from instrument panel at right
2	Remove glove box (5)
3	Remove COMAND® controller unit (4) until electrical connectors are accessible	Model 172.4 with code 531 (COMAND® APS)	AR82.60-P-7502W
4	Disconnect electrical connector of WLAN antenna from COMAND® controller unit (4)
5	Cut electrical line (2) of WLAN antenna (1) on both ends as near as possible to the instrument panel wiring harness	: The electrical line (2) of the new WLAN antenna (1) is routed with cable straps along the instrument panel wiring harness to the COMAND® controller unit (4). The factory installed electrical line (2) is firmly integrated in the instrument panel wiring harness. Therefore, the defective WLAN antenna (1) must be detached for replacement. The factory installed electrical line (2) remains in the vehicle.
6	Unclip WLAN antenna (1) from bracket (3) and remove
7	Install in the reverse order
