| 1 | Switch off ignition | ||
| 2 | Unclip cover (1) downwards and remove (arrow A) | Fig 2 | |
| 3 | Unhook retaining clamp (3) at both sides of rain/light sensor (B38/2) or light sensor (B38/1) (arrow B) | ||
| 4 | Remove rain/light sensor (B38/2) or light sensor (B38/1) | Do not touch surfaces of rain/light sensor (B38/2) or light sensor (B38/1). Otherwise, soiling may cause the rain/light sensor (B38/2) or the light sensor (B38/1) to malfunction. |

| 5 | Disconnect electrical connection (2) | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 7 | Carry out initial startup of rain/light sensor (B38/2) or light sensor (B38/1) | ||
