	Removing

1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.
2	Unclip cover (1) downward in direction of arrow (arrow A)	Long wedge	Fig 2
3	Unclip cover (3)	On vehicles with code (882) Interior monitoring (only with ATA), the cover (3) is installed in the antitheft/warning system/emergency call system button group. In this case, allow cover (3) with antitheft/warning system/emergency call system button group to hang down with electrical lines connected.
4	Remove left sun visor (4)
5	Pull left A-pillar paneling (5) down in area of overhead control panel control unit (N70) until the electrical connector (6) is accessible
6	Disconnect electrical connectors (6, 7)	Electrical connector (7) only on vehicles with code (249) Automatically dimming inside rearview mirror.
7	Position hook wrench (8) on mirror base (2) and turn in rotation direction (arrow) until inside rear view mirror (A67) detaches from mirror holder.	Beoreru sing wrap felt tape around hook wrench handle (8) to prevent damaging windshield.

	Install
8	Position inside rearview mirror (A67) on mirror holder
9	Turn mirror base (2) with hook wrench (8) in direction of arrow (arrow B) until mirror base (2) arrests on mirror holder.	Hook wrench	Fig 3
10	Connect electrical connector (6, 7)	Electrical connector (7) only on vehicles with code (249) Automatically dimming inside rearview mirror.
11	Position left A-pillar paneling (5) at installation location
12	Install left sun visor (4)
13	Clip in cover (3)
14	Install cover (1)
15	Perform initial startup for garage door opener transmitter unit with Star Diagnosis	When replacing inside rearview mirror (A67) on vehicles with code (231) Garage door opener or with code (232) Garage door opener with frequency 284-390 MHz	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
	Notes on programming garage door opener transmitter unit		AH68.05-P-0002-01A
