Function requirements, general

NFC describes an international transfer standard for contact-free exchange of data via radio over short distances of a few centimeters.
Central locking and drive authorization via mobile phone
The central locking can be operated with the mobile phone and the vehicle started.
The mobile phone is a replacement for the transmitter key (A8/1). The central locking and drive authorization via mobile phone comprises following partial functions:

It is sufficient to hold the mobile phone against the marked point on the KEYLESS-GO door handle to lock or unlock the vehicle. A NFC sensor is installed in the driver door KEYLESS-GO door handle. The mobile phone transmits a radio signal to the NFC sensor in the driver door KEYLESS-GO door handle. The KEYLESS-GO directly reads in the radio signal from the NFC sensor in the driver door KEYLESS-GO door handle and transmits the access authorization code to the electronic ignition lock control unit via the interior CAN.
The electronic ignition lock control unit checks the access authorization code of the mobile phone. If the access authorization code is valid, the electronic ignition lock control activates locking or unlocking the CL.
Function sequence for drive authorization
If the mobile phone is placed in the stowage box/tray in the center console intended for this purpose, the mobile phone cradle control unit receives the radio signals of the mobile phone via the installed NCF sensor. If the mobile phone is in the vicinity of the stowage box/tray, the near field communication antenna receives the radio signals of the mobile phone and transmits them to the mobile phone cradle control units. The mobile phone cradle control unit transmits the signals via the telematics CAN, head unit and user interface CAN to the electronic ignition lock control unit. The electronic ignition lock control unit checks the access authorization code of the mobile phone.
If the mobile phone is identified as valid, the individual circuits can be switched with the KEYLESS-GO start/stop button and the engine started. The electronic ignition lock control unit senses when the KEYLESS-GO start/stop button is pressed.
