Check NFC Interfaces - AR80.57-P-0005LWE

  Notes on Digital Vehicle Key on the Smartphone   AH80.57-P-0002-01A 
INSPECT Check     
1 Hold test card up to the customer's smartphone and check the near-field communication on the smartphone. SPECIAL TOOL Test card Fig 1
    If the website https://www.mercedes-benz.com  is opened,
↓
near-field communication on the smartphone is OK.
If the website https://www.mercedes-benz.com  is not opened,
↓
check smartphone settings.		  
2 Open driver's door and close again immediately. IMPORTANT So that the instrument cluster is woken up  
3 Hold test card up to the front area of the outside door handle of the driver's door and check near-field communication on the outside door handle. SPECIAL TOOL Test card Fig 1
    If the message "key does not belong to vehicle" appears instrument cluster,
↓
near-field communication on the outside door handle is OK.
If no message appears in the instrument cluster,
↓
Perform diagnosis.

4 Place test card in the center console stowage tray, actuate start/stop button and check near-field communication on the center console stowage tray. SPECIAL TOOL Test card Fig 1
    If the message "put key in the marked stowage box/tray, see operator's manual" and then the message "key does not belong to vehicle" appears in the instrument cluster,
↓
the near-field communication on the center console stowage tray is OK.
If no message appears in the instrument
cluster,
↓
Perform diagnosis.
