Remove/Install Rear Pre-Fuse Box - AR54.15-P-1340LF

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery   AR54.10-P-0003LF 
2 Remove front luggage compartment lining (1) Model 222.0/1/9 AR68.30-P-4600LF
3 Remove right trunk trim (2) Model 222.0/1/9 AR68.30-P-4600LF
DANGER Risk of fire  /risk of explosion due to short circuit and escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of (burn) injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte/mist, short circuit and arcing. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte or absorption of lead through the skin or body orifices. Risk of death  due to voltage U >= 30 V AC and U >= 60 V DC. No fires, sparks, open flames, or smoking.
Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing, and glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

4 Unscrew nut (3) and remove ground line (4) of ECO start/stop function additional battery from rear additional battery ground point    
Topical note  Notes on the use of paint scraping nuts on ground connections   AH00.19-P-1000-20A
    NOTES Cover connector of ground line (4) in order to prevent an unwanted ground connection.
Otherwise there is a risk of short circuit when removing the rear pre-fuse box (F33).
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Rear additional battery ground point
*BA00.19-P-1010-01C 
5 Disconnect electrical connections (7)    
6 Remove cable ties (8) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace cable tie (8).  
7 Remove positive lines (9) from rear pre-fuse box (F33) IMPORTANT Number of positive lines (9) depending on the vehicle equipment.
The connections of the positive lines (9) are shape coded.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, positive terminal to rear pre-fuse box

8 Disconnect pyrofuse electrical connection (6) Model 222
with code ME04 (Mild hybrid drive)
 
9 Unscrew screws/bolts (5) and remove rear pre-fuse box (F33) from bracket    
10 Remove rear pre-fuse box (F33) from trunk    
11 Install in the reverse order
