DANGER Risk of fire  /risk of explosion due to short circuit and escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of (burn) injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte/mist, short circuit and arcing. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte or absorption of lead through the skin or body orifices. Risk of death  due to voltage U >= 30 V AC and U >= 60 V DC. No fires, sparks, open flames, or smoking.
Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing, and glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove partition wall panel   AR68.30-P-4600LF
2 Disconnect ground line (2) from on-board electrical system battery (G1)   AR54.10-P-0003LF 
3 Disconnect electrical connector (1) from battery sensor (B95)    
4 Loosen nut of battery sensor (B95) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, charging cable to negative terminal/positive terminal of on-board electrical system battery *BA54.10-P-1003-01J 
5 Expose ground line (2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace damaged fasteners.  
6 Remove ground line (2) with battery sensor (B95) from trunk IMPORTANT The ground line (2) and battery sensor (B95) are a component part and cannot be replaced individually.  
7 Install in the reverse order
