| 1 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key | ||
| 2 | Remove storage compartment (1) | ||
| 3 | Tape up lining edge of stowage compartment (1) with a sturdy adhesive tape (2) as shown | ||
| 4 | Unclip connector (3) on the rear of the stowage compartment (1) | ||
| 5 | Unclip electrical wiring harness (4) from line bracket (5) on stowage compartment (1) | ||
| 6 | Open flap (6) at vehicle interior socket, front (X58/17) | ||
| 7 | Unlatch vehicle interior socket, front (X58/17) with the pliers (7) and pull out until the electrical connector (8) is accessible | Fig 1 | |
| 8 | Detach electrical connector (8) and remove vehicle interior socket, front (X58/17) | ||
| 9 | Installation of vehicle interior socket, front (X58/17) in reverse order | ||
| Remove/install socket 12V (X58/40) | |||
| 10 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key | ||
| 11 | Open compartment (9) | ||
| 12 | Open flap (10) | ||
| 13 | Detach socket 12V (X58/40) with the pliers (7) and pull out until the electrical connector (11) is accessible | Fig 1 | |
| 14 | Disconnect electrical connector (11) and remove socket 12V (X58/40) | ||
| 15 | Installation of socket 12V (X58/40) in reverse order | ||
| Remove/install luggage compartment socket (X58/12) | |||

| 19 | Disconnect Electrical connection (13) | ||
| 20 | Unscrew nut (14) and remove luggage compartment socket (X58/12) from the luggage compartment lining, right (12) | ||
| 21 | Installation of the luggage compartment socket (X58/12) in reverse order |
